Yes, at certain locations, applications will be kept and delivered to the Elections Department. Applications must be turned in at the registration site at least 29 days before an election in order to meet the registration deadline. What are the Voter Registration Deadlines by Mail? Applications must be postmarked at least 29 days before an election, to vote in that election. Are there deadlines at the Elections Department? Applications that are delivered to the Elections Department at least 29 days in advance of the election satisfy the registration deadline. What information must be provided on the application for the registration application to be valid? Full Name, Date of Birth, Legal Residence Street Address (address where you live), Gender, and Colorado Driver’s License number, or Department of Revenue Identification number, or the last four digits of your Social Security number and signature. Also, the blocks on the top row of the application must be checked indicating that you are a What happens if I do not make an entry in the party affiliation section of the application? If you leave this section blank you will be registered as “UNAFFILIATED”. If you decide to affiliate with a political party you can indicate this change on the back side of your Voter Confirmation Card. No, there is one central voter roll in each county that is used for all city, county, state, and national elections. Assuming your Voter Registration Application is completed correctly, you will receive a Voter Confirmation Card in the mail. What do I do if I have a change in Name, Address, or Party Affiliation? You must notify your Clerk and Recorder's office of any changes so that your voter registration record can be updated. All change requests must be submitted in writing using an approved form or in the form of a letter. Letters must include your: · Printed name · Address within the county · Date of birth · Social security number (at least the last four digits) · Previous affiliation · Requested affiliation If you move to another county or state, you must re-register in your new county or state using an approved form.
