Ordinance 2022-1

An ordinance of the Town of Saguache, Colorado amending the Saguache Municipal Code by adding "short-term rental" as article three to chapter 15 (Land Use Regulations)

Notice is hereby given that a proposed Ordinance 2022-1 An ordinance of the Town of Saguache, Colorado Amending the Saguache Municipal Code by adding "Short Term Rental" as Article Three to Chapter 15 (Land Use Regulations) for the Town of Saguache has been submitted to the Board of Trustees. A copy of the proposed ordinance has been filed in the office of the Town Clerk, Saguache Town Hall, 504 San Juan Avenue, where same is open for public inspection. A public hearing will be held regarding the proposed Ordinance 2022-1 at a regular meeting of the Town of Saguache to be held virtually via Zoom on March 17, 2022 at 6:30 PM.

Outdoor watering is only allowed during the hours listed below. Water restrictions apply to the watering of outdoor vegetation to include but not limited to plants, lawns, and all agricultural use only.

Monday - No outside water use
Tuesday - Morning - 8am to 10am Evening - 6pm to 8pm
Wednesday - Morning - 8am to 10am Evening - 6pm to 8pm
Thursday - Morning - 8am to 10am Evening - 6pm to 8pm
Friday - Morning - 8am to 10am Evening - 6pm to 8pm
Saturday - Morning - 8am to 10am Evening - 6pm to 8pm

Water Restriction for Outdoor Use

Monday - No outside water use
Tuesday - Morning-6am to 8am Evening - 6pm to 9pm
Wednesday - Moring-6am to 8 am Evening - 6pm to 9pm
Thursday - Morning - 6am to 8am Evening - 6pm to 9pm

Notice - 2023 Water Rate Increases

Effective January 1, 2023

The Town of Saguache Water and Sewer rates will be going up to $39 per month for water and sewer will be $37 per month for a total of $76.00 per month. Business Rates will also increase, for rates please contact town hall at 719-655-2232.

Water & Sewer Rate Increases Effective March 1, 2017

Water and Sewer Rates will increase by the following amounts effective January 1, 2019 according to the consolidated fee schedule adopted March 1, 2017. Water will increase to $33 per month and Sewer to $35 per month for residential users. For business rates please contact Town Hall at 719-655-2232.
