DOWNTOWN SAGUACHEIn 2011 Saguache completed a downtown revitalization project. It consisted of infrastructure improvements and beautification, including wider sidewalks, updated lampposts, plantings, benches, trash receptacles, bicycle racks and a pocket park (which is in the final stages of completion at this time.) The new Saguache Welcome Center is downtown, as are the theatre, a diner, an antiques store, an art gallery, a bank, the newspaper office and the post office. Additional galleries are located in the blocks off of Fourth Street. Please feel free to explore our town. |
